exercising for the elderly

Well girls, and you know who you are--I rode my bike 4 miles today. Considering that my bike weighs about 50 lbs., I am proud of that. Am planning to do this every day, upping the mileage as I go along. The only things that hurt are my knees. But I am going to ignore that for now.

NICE!!! Keep it up! Increase the miles slowly. Or, start adding a little transition powerwalk after your ride. 5-10 minutes or so, your legs will already be warmed up from the bike.
