Since I am the blood relative most senior, I feel I have some rights as to bragging, offering advice and encouragement, scolding, etc. I just want to say today that every one of you is a champ. Your accomplishments are amazing. Just think about what our great grandparents hoped for when they got off the boats from Europe. All they could yearn for was a warm bed and a job enough to keep them fed. Look at what has happened! In the current generation we have good solid citizens with high aspirations. Additionally your aspirations are far far greater than anyone even of my generation could dream, let alone those of our ancestors at the turn of the 20th century. So, my dear child, nieces and nephews, please continue to reach for the stars (this sounds trite I know). My prayers and thoughts are with each of you every day.
